
The Company
Fratelli Maoddi S.r.l is a family company that’s been working for over forty years in the sardinian dairy industry. Their main product is the Pecorino Romano DOP (Protected Denomination of Origin), the most sold cheese in the world.
The other part of the production includes soft table cheese, seasoned and semi-seasoned cheese, and ricotta cheese.
Nowadays, the technology and the highly specialized staff makes it possible to have about 9000 quintals cheese a year, which are made using only the best sheep milk of the zootechnics industry from the middle-south of Sardinia.
All the production phases, from collect of milk and its processing to seasoned and packaging are supervised by specialized technicians who works in the respect of the UNI EN ISO 9000:2008 quality standard law.
The 50% of products are sold in North America, the 40% in the national market and the other 10% in the european market.
